In A Blue Mood

I don't know why.
Had a good day, finished and presented a major project. Now all I have is a paper, 3 exams, a monologue presentation, a song presentation and a bunch of rehearsals.
Then the next week is a few rehearsals and a few shows.
Then I'm free for two weeks.

Tonight I went to the mall (THE thing to do in Windsor) with a bunch of friends and then saw Twilight for the second time. Haven't read the books- not planning to- just because everyone is, no matter how good they are.

Came home, washed my face and brushed my teeth and relized my roommate was gone. Then saw she left a note on the fridge telling me to clean the sink. I washed paintbrushes in it last night and the black paint stuck to the grime. It's not my fault it's grimy.

Anyway, long rehearsal tomorrow.
I need to buy groceries. Really badly.
I've gone shopping maybe once in the past two months.
It's a good way to save money.

Thanks for the pickles, Eliza. I loved them.

Halloween Pub Night

Let me just start by saying that Pub Night last night went from 9 pm until 2 am. When I left around midnight there were still people lined up to get in.
Boy am I glad that when I arrived there was a huge line that my friends were standing at the front of. And I mean very front. Normally I would never cut in line, I'm not that kind of a jerk (I am other kinds)... but the line was just so long. I got to have the whole experience.
Three hours later I left school avoiding pools of vomit, having consumed fair amounts of alcohol, danced my ass of alone and with a cow (udders and all).
Two things this picture doesn't show:
1) I had blacked out two of my teeth. A very disgusting experience
2) My track pants were shiny and tapered with elastics and zippers at the ankle.
Everyone looked slutty and hot and I looked like this:

Fuckin Freezin

I thought global warming was supposed ot make things warm, not fucking cold where cities are blanketed with snow in October. It's all bananas.
I just spent the last 3 hour lying on a cold floor in a freezing room watching a very long movie version of Henry V.
It was cold and boring and cold and uncomfortable and cold.
Why do schools still have air comditioning when it's -1 000 000 degrees outside?
It's cruel.

Domo Arigato

Today, while walking back from school through the parking lot, there was a group of girls in a pickup truck with the windows down and doors open, blasting music. As I got closer, I realized it was 'Mr. Roboto'. They saw me and my friend approaching as there was no one else around.

As soon as I knew they could see me, I broke out into 'the robot' dance. They all laughed and I danced away through the parking lot. I mean, the music was loud!

It reminded me of the car commercial that Tony Hale was in and the parody of it on Arrested Development. I will display the link here for your viewing pleasure. Please watch it, it took me a really long time to find it.

Invisible

Okay, this picture and title have nothing to do with the text, but that's ok.
Today I was on a bus coming back from seeing a play and a woman in a car pulled out of her driveway without looking both ways. The bus stopped suddenly (so, you know, he wouldn't kill her) and we all jolted forward. Except one sweet, cute old man went flying off his seat onto the floor and hit his head on the pole. He got up, embarassed, but he was bleeding. Soon the blood covered half his face and the driver pulled over at the next stop and called an ambulance. Then we waited for another bus while an ambulance and firetruck came.
The man was fine, a little bloody but he said he didn't even have a headache. And if it was me I sure would be embarassed. Eventually we got on the other bus and went back 'home'.
Things like this take you out of the numbing routine of life... makes you realize that things are happening. Big or small, drastic changes occur in peoples lives every day; good or bad, planned or unplanned.
It's real.

Nightmare

I had an awful dream last night. For some reason we were doing Urinetown again and I missed every single one of my entrances.
I literally was not onstage for any of the first act... which was wierd because the plot wouldn't make sense without me there.
The dream ended at intermission with me begging to go onstage for the second act... although it wouldn't make any sense because the audience wouldn't know who I was.

I've Decided

I'm going to be white trash for halloween this year. I have an amazing costume.
*This is not my costume... but I'm proud of the trashiness.
